Sharon Shriver

Preschool Director & Resource

A little bit about me:

I earned my bachelors degree in Art Education K-12 from Hastings College in 1988. That same year, I married my husband, Tim Shriver and subbed 2 years before accepting a part-time Art position at Silver Lake High School in Roseland, NE. After 4 years, I left that position, started my family, and worked full-time at Thermo King. After 5 years of factory work, I returned to the education field subbing for local Adams County schools. In 2003, I returned to Hastings College and completed my K-6 Special Education Endorsement. In 2007, I accepted a Special Education job at a neighbor elementary school. In 2013, I decided to continue my education by attending Concordia University in Seward, NE, and pursue Master’s Degree in Early Childhood. I graduated in 2016 from Concordia. In 2018, I decided that I needed to take a break from the paperwork involved in special education. I am blessed with the opportunity to teach Preschool, Resource, and Art at Zion Lutheran.
